Estonia is a small country comparable in size with the Netherlands, It consists of mild hilly country and marshes and lowlands to the west and north. Estonia has three large and 1520 smaller islands. The highest point of Estonia is mount ‘Suur Munamagi’ with a height of 318 meters.
Natural resources occurring in Estonia are oil shale, peat, rare earth elements, phosphorus, clay, limestone, dolomite and arable land. Large parts of Estonia are natural forests.
